Accounts

The Accounts section gives you a complete view of all your assets at Desjardins Online Brokerage, as well as all active accounts linked to your user code.

For your convenience, you can view the accounts of each related person separately or all together.

The default view displays the overall picture of your accounts: cash, value of all securities held, total portfolio value, realized and unrealized gains and losses, purchasing power and margin available (if applicable).

You can also customize the information you would like to display for your accounts.

Positions

The Positions tab allows you to view all the securities held in all accounts or for a specific account using the Account drop-down menu. You can filter securities by asset class: stocks, options, mutual funds and fixed income securities.

If you hold margin short accounts, these are now grouped with margin and margin option accounts.

You can customize the column headers by selecting Custom from the Account Management drop-down menu. You can add or remove the columns you would like.

You can also reposition columns by selecting them and moving them to the left or right. Each table header is clickable and you can sort your securities by each column. For example, by clicking on the column “Unrealized profit/loss (%)”, you can sort your securities in order of those with the highest (or lowest) percentage gains.

The Combined View allows you to see the names of all the accounts whose trading you control. This function is activated by right-clicking on your mouse and then selecting Combined View.

De-select Combined View to view accounts individually.
