Exchange rates on transactions in a registered account
Exchange rates are applied to the net amount to be converted within the same trading day. In the case of same day multiple buys and sales, the exchange rate will be applied to the net difference. For example, if there are multiple buys worth a total of $60,000 US and sales worth $50,000 US on the same day, the conversion rate will be that of a purchase of $10,000 US.
When making only purchases or only sales throughout the trading day, the exchange rate will be applied on the total amount transacted per day.
The exchange rate varies and is applied based on the thresholds below.
